Azerbaijani Company Alliance Logistics Reports Record Container Shipments in 2025
According to the report, 2025 was a year of sustainable growth for Alliance Logistics and strengthening of key international routes. The company expanded its rail and multimodal transport services along the Middle Corridor, steadily enhancing Azerbaijan’s strategic transit position on the East–West axis. (Haqqin.az)
By the end of the year, the total volume of container shipments reached 50,000 TEU (twenty-foot equivalent units), with 57 % of that volume being transit shipments. The Middle Corridor and the Baku–Tbilisi–Kars (BTK) route played a crucial role in shaping cargo flows. Shipments to and from China showed strong dynamics, accounting for about 30 % of the total volume. (Haqqin.az)
According to the company’s leadership, the results were made possible thanks to effective cooperation with infrastructure partners — including Azerbaijan Railways, Baku International Sea Trade Port, and Azerbaijan Caspian Sea Shipping Company — the coordinated work of teams, and a high degree of trust from international clients. Modern infrastructure provided by Azerbaijan Railways ensured uninterrupted shipments along the Middle Corridor and contributed to strengthening Azerbaijan’s position as a regional logistics hub. An effective synergy between the public and private sectors will play a decisive role in achieving these goals. (Haqqin.az)
